RMC announces the final release of Layout-iQ v1.01.  Layout-iQ is a workspace design software that allows users to optimize the way they organize workspace.  The software ranks a layout based on the flow (e.g. travel distance) and the effectiveness of the layout.  Users can experiment with an unlimited number of designs to find the best workspace design solution.  Layout-iQ is similar to systematic layout planning and can be used to optimally design a hospital, factory, warehouse, and any other facility type.  It is also a great way of modeling all motion and flow through a workspace.

Time Study RN is a PDA based time study and work measurement solution for Nursing and Physicians.  Based on work sampling theory, Time Study RN allows Nurse's to measure how they are spending their time.  This information is used by nursing teams to find ways to reduce waste and inefficiency in the nurses work day.  RMC also has general purpose PDA based Time Study and Auditing data collection software.

The Time Study RN National Benchmarking Database has reached a significant milestone with over 65 hospital units now participating and contributing data.  The database allows Time Study RN users to compare how their nurses are spending their time compared to nurses at the other 64 hospitals participating in the project.
