A typical REM project includes the following 3 phases:

1.     Assessment

If you would like to benefit from the Rapid Engineering Methodology, but are unsure where to start, then an Assessment of your current situation is a great place to begin.  During the assessment process, we find opportunities where the application of the REM method will add significant value to your company and streamline your operations.  We will identify those opportunities and develop the goals and objectives for a REM implementation.  The assessment takes approximately 5 days and includes 1-3 days, onsite at your facility and a report of findings, project goals and objectives, and other recommendations.  Cost is $5,000 dollars plus travel expenses.

2.     REM Project Execution

If you already have an application in mind, with specific goals and objectives defined, then it may be decided to forego the assessment process altogether – and move directly into Project Execution.  The REM project includes clear definition of objectives, creation of a stellar technical design, data collection, diagramming flows, simulation modeling, and overall optimization of your system to achieve the desired goals and objectives.  Deliverables include optimized layouts, flow diagrams, flow reports, simulation models, and optimization results, and complimented by our recommendations and a concise plan of action to accomplish the objectives.  Depending on the size of the project, this phase could take from 1 week to 3 months. Layouts, diagrams, and reports are delivered to you throughout the process, in a timely manner, as they are completed.  Cost is variable - depending on time and billed at $760/day.

3.     Execute the Plan of Action

If the plan of action includes process changes, lean implementation, IE design, new scheduling solutions, or supply chain solutions, the REM team will continue to provide oversight and execution of those tasks until the goals and objectives have been achieved.  Cost is variable - depending on time and labor grade.
